Why there is no single price for every home
A price per square foot only becomes useful when you know what it includes. Two homes with the same floor area can need different preparation, edge details, access arrangements and installation work. Sonhaus provides a project-specific proposal after discussing your needs and assessing the floor.

Separate the boards from the work
Ask the quotation to identify the selected product and specification, measured installation area, material allowance, labour, skirting and transition profiles. Check whether the quotation covers supply and installation or just the boards.
Ask how offcuts and layout affect the material allowance. Do not assume every property needs the same wastage percentage, or that its total built-up area is the area being installed.
Make preparation and exclusions visible
Discuss uneven areas, loose tiles, moisture concerns, old-floor removal and disposal. Ask which preparation items are included, which are provisional and how additional work would be approved. Do not assume every floor can be covered directly.
Also confirm furniture handling, delivery and building access, stairs, door adjustments and finishes at adjoining rooms. These details can change the scope even if the board choice remains the same.
Compare like for like, not the headline rate
Put each quotation beside the same room list and product specification. Mark material, labour, preparation, finishing, access and exclusions as included, excluded or awaiting assessment. Ask about the distinction between product warranty and installation workmanship terms.
A lower headline rate may simply describe less work. Equally, a higher price is not proof of better workmanship. Ask for relevant project examples and a clear explanation of the proposed preparation.
Get a proposal for the result you want
Share your location in Selangor or the Klang Valley, approximate room sizes, current floor photos and preferred timing. Tell Wilson whether your priority is appearance, daily upkeep, comfort or resolving an existing floor problem.
Arrange the free on-site survey and review the proposed supply-and-install scope. Confirm the selected finish, inclusions, exclusions, schedule and applicable terms in writing before proceeding.
